Copper Wire Cascade Bonsai Tree Sculpture. by angelhitsground
Copper Wire Cascade Bonsai Tree Sculpture.
Buy it here:…
This wire tree sculpture is a one of a kind piece of art. Made of numerous strands of wire all hand twisted together to create this stunning work of art. This wire tree sculpture will bring some life to your home or office, while never needing to worry about watering.

Over 20 hours went into making this one of a kind, handmade wire tree sculpture. Twisting each wire by hand to make this wire tree sculpture does take a lot of time and passion but guarantees that there will never be another one exactly the same.

Perfect to liven up your home, office, desk, room, or as a gift to an art loving friend or loved one. Also great for those that love the look of bonsai trees, but don't have the greenest of thumbs or the time to care for a living tree.

Inspired by my love of nature and being in the woods, but being stuck in the city I wanted to bring a little bit of nature inside. Made with mostly reclaimed materials. The copper and steal wire I try to source from places being remodeled where the wire is being removed and on the way to the junk yard, or from scrap yards (colored or custom wire types the wire would be purchased). The wood disk bases are from trim limbs that have been pruned or naturally fell. Other base materials are either sourced from found materials or if need be, store bought.

Item Specifics:

Size: H- 7in  W- 6.5in  D- 5in
Color: Copper
Materials: Reclaimed Copper Wire, White Birch Limb, Artificial Moss

Personal Quote: Life is suicide in slow motion!
Well as you can tell by my gallery posts, I have been pretty inactive with my art for a while now. I just didnt have the inspiration or drive to draw or create. Well about 2 weeks ago the bug bit me again, but I was wanting to do something new (to me anyway) something I havent done before. SO I was just browsing the interwebs and saw a tutorial on how to make a triquetra pendant.... Looked easy enough and I had the stuff in my crafting supplies to give it a go. Didnt turn out too bad. Since then the crafting bug has really locked down hard on me. I spend at least a couple hours every night after work, fiddling away with jewelry making. Its a new medium for me and a very fun new endeavor. So far I am happy with the way things are going. Trying new ideas and ways of doing things. Its pretty much trial and error at this point. I have looked at and read a few sites on the basics of jewelry making, and have looked around a little bit at others works that are like mine, but not much as I dont want to unintentionally rip off anyone else's ideas, I look at how they do something but try not to look too much at the over all piece. I am looking only to understand the technique not to rip off ideas. I still have miles to go before I will be really happy with it all, but so far I am enjoying myself, learning something new, and having fun crafting. It can be frustrating at times, cause I dont have the knowledge in the ways of jewelry making yet, but I am learning. And really learning it on your own can be half the fun.

But the creativity is flowing again, just in a new direction for now. My flow of art may have been dammed up for a while but it art found a new path around the dam, heading in a new direction for now. Sometimes you just need to make course corrections to get your life back on track.

You are welcome. Thank you for appreciating all that I do. I just want to make the world a prettier place, by any means possible. Whether it be art, written word, random acts of awesomeness, helping those down on their luck, or just making at least one person smile everyday. I live for art and art makes the world a better place to be. I am glad to be one of the many making this world a more awesome place to live.

You are the most amazing artist I have ever known. I am a better person for it... your art work is inspiring to me and I love to see it. I decided after a few years of looking at it and coming by often to enjoy your work... that I should sign up for an account and do what friends and loved ones should do... SUPPORT YOU. Please never stop... keep the art work flowing. I notice you have work that is not on here yet and I hope you get around to it sometime. You work is so amazing and heartfelt that it should never be hidden. Thank you for being such an amazing friend and breath taking artist. You are truly an inspiration Michael.
